Mumbai, 03 Sep, 2024 – The ongoing feud between Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken a dramatic turn. On Monday, a shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area has added a new dimension to the case.
Shooting Incident
Around 4:51 AM, two assailants on a motorcycle opened fire outside Salman Khan’s home. The attack is suspected to be orchestrated by Lawrence Bishnoi, who has previously issued threats to Khan. Following the shooting, Bishnoi’s cousin Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the attack via a social media post.
Threatening Letter
Before the shooting, Salim Khan, Salman’s father, received a threatening letter. The letter was placed on Salim Khan’s favorite bench, where he usually rests during his morning walks. It warned that “Salman Khan will soon face dire consequences.” The letter bore the initials GB and LB, which are thought to represent Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi.

Gangster Involvement
Mumbai police investigations have revealed that the threatening letter was part of a plot involving Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates in Canada. According to the police, Bishnoi sent the letter from Tihar Jail, and his Canadian-based collaborators, including gangsters Vikramjeet Singh Brar and Goldy Brar, were also implicated in the scheme.
Contact from Jail
Further investigation by the CBI and Mumbai police uncovered that Bishnoi had been in contact with the shooters from jail. Shooter Siddhesh Kamble, also known as Mahakal, admitted during interrogation that the letter was crafted by Vikramjeet Singh Brar, who is currently in Canada.
The shooting has prompted heightened security measures and intensified investigations by both Mumbai police and the CBI. The threats against Salman Khan and his family have caused significant alarm within Bollywood and among security agencies. Authorities are now focusing on taking stringent action against the culprits and uncovering the full extent of the conspiracy.
