The bus, operated by Autobuses Regiomontanos, was traveling westbound when it veered off the highway near Bovina in Warren County and flipped over. No other vehicles were involved in the incident, which officials have attributed to tire failure. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed this cause on the social media platform X, as the investigation into the crash continues.
Tragically, six passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, and a seventh victim succumbed to their injuries at a hospital. Among the deceased were a 6-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister, as confirmed by Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey. The identities of the other victims are still being determined by authorities.
